Solfege hand signs for chromatic scales4/21/2024 I'm also on team Scale Degrees > Solfege except in certain situations such as when a student might know Fixed Do for various reasons. Run Roo Ree Rour Rive Rix Rev / Lev Lix Live Lour Lee Loo It can be done, but having everything be a single syllable like solfege is a lot easier. And yeah I totally chop Se-ven into Sev to avoid the weird stuff that happens when you try to cram to syllables into a single note value. I'm definitely not criticizing this method, I'm not even fully sure I understand it, but on the subject or chromatics and singing using scale degrees I adopted the One Run Two Roo or One Sev Lev Six Lix where you start the number with R to indicate that it's Raised and L to indicate that it's Lowered.
